The course for the Ethekwini Best of the Best marathon takes you on a journey through Durban’s diverse cityscape, allowing you to touch the city’s heart. You will run along the sun-drenched Golden Mile, pass through the buzzing Florida Road precinct, and ascend to the tranquil green spaces of the Durban Botanic Gardens.
The Ethekwini Best of the Best Marathon is a celebration of Durban’s spirit and resilience. Drawing over 3,000 runners annually, it’s an integral part of the city’s cultural calendar.
Race options include 5km, 10km, 21km and 42km distances, all on a road surface, providing a challenge for every level of runner.
