The Maxi Race Madeira lays out an unforgettable journey through its lush subtropical landscapes, punctuated by the dramatic peaks and valleys that define this rugged and beautiful island.
The course unfolds across a mix of terrains, offering an incredible diversity of scenery. Runners will chase the horizon through mist-shrouded laurel forests, emerge onto gleaming mountain ridges, and descend into the verdant valleys crisscrossed by ancient levadas (irrigation channels). The scent of eucalyptus fills the air, while the constant murmur of rushing water from countless waterfalls accompanies your every step.
Race options include 4km, 15km, 25km, 55km, and 100km distances.
