The Run Rome Marathon invites you to chase your personal best amidst spectacular ruins and ancient cobblestones of a city born from empire.
The 42k course is a road race that takes you on a journey through time, starting and ending at the iconic Colosseum. Feel the cool morning air as you dash along the Tiber River, catch the gleaming sunlight reflecting off St. Peter’s Basilica, and push through the last miles amid the wild cheers of the Roman crowds. With the city’s elevation ranging from a mere 10m to 30m, the race provides a blend of mild technical challenges as well as stunning visual feasts.
