The Sierre-Zinal is a pursuit of endurance and resilience in the heart of the wild, whispering pine forests and expansive mountain meadows.

The course is a 31 km trail race, a journey through the heart of Switzerland’s most breathtaking landscapes. The route takes runners from the quaint town of Sierre, up the challenging slopes of the Val d’Anniviers, and through the jaw-dropping Weisshorn peak. The course unveils a panorama of the Imperial Crown – five 4000 meter peaks that gleam in the morning sun, a sight as invigorating as the crisp Alpine air.

Steeped in rich history, the Sierre-Zinal is known as the “Race of the Five 4000s”, a cornerstone event in the mountain running world since 1974. The race reflects the spirit of the Swiss mountaineering culture, echoing with the whispers of generations of Alpine explorers.

The race offers a single, challenging 31 km distance.
