The Great Limerick Run course offers a unique opportunity to experience the raw beauty of Ireland’s mid-western landscape, from the gleaming Shannon River to the towering stone architecture.
The race course begins in the city center, snaking through the medieval quarter, where centuries-old stone structures echo with the pulse of the race. Runners then embark on a journey along the Shannon River, where the crashing waves and cool mist invigorate the senses.
Just as the urban landscape starts to fade, the route returns to the city streets, lined with cheering crowds and the rhythmic beats of traditional Irish music.
Race options include a 6-mile, half marathon (21k), and full marathon (42k).
