The Waterford Viking Marathon unveils the raw beauty of Ireland’s oldest city. This race embarks on a journey through time and terrain, unraveling mysteries of Viking heritage amid the verdant Irish landscape.
The race course unfolds on a well-paved road, winding through the heart of Waterford City.
Runners will pass by age-old landmarks such as the towering Reginald’s Tower, a testament to the city’s Viking roots, and the gleaming Bishop’s Palace, reflecting the grandeur of the Georgian era.
The Waterford Viking Marathon offers three race options: a 10k, a half marathon (21k), and a full marathon (42k).
