The Rogue Expeditions story began with a crazy little idea in the Sahara back in 2012, and the first chapter was officially written the following year as a cast of 20 Austin runners jumped onboard and took their running shoes to the Sahara desert for an unknown adventure. 7 years and 80-something trips later, the story has expanded far beyond Morocco, the cast of characters grows increasingly diverse with every trip and, well, we want to celebrate it all!
On Sunday, December 15 we’re throwing an end-of-year party at our home base in Austin. There will be food, drinks, guide stories, trip highlights (the good, the bad & the hilarious) from the past year, friends old and new and some very special guests: everyone’s favorite Irish run guide, Sean, will be in town, and there will be a few other familiar faces making an appearance as well!
Whether you went on one trip seven years ago, just completed your ninth trip last month, are registered for your first trip next year or are simply curious about the RE vibe, then we want to see you there!
All we ask is that you RSVP so that we can make sure there are plenty of refreshments to go around:
Travel stories are the best stories. tell yours!
We know that the party location prevents lots of amazing non-Austinites from being there, but there’s a good chance that a story or photo from your trip will make an appearance. We’ve got some stories in mind, but want to hear about memorable moments from any aspect of your RE adventure.
This is your chance to brag on yourself, embarrass yourself or do a little of both:
