I grew up in Oklahoma and attended Oklahoma State University where I received my bachelor’s degree in marketing. I was able to spend my summers and winter breaks in Brazil, where my parents lived for 4 years. After that experience, all I wanted to do was travel and surf, so I did just that for the next 5 years or so. While traveling in Malaysia, I decided to run the Borneo Marathon, and even though I didn’t do very well, I loved every minute of it. I discovered I really enjoyed pushing myself, and have been hooked on running ever since. I have completed many ultras and finally achieved my goal of completing a 100 miler in September at The Bear 100.
Now I am living my dream of combining my two passions of traveling and running. I was even lucky enough to find the girl of my dreams through running, and had the honor of pacing her to the finish as she won the Hardrock 2015. Running has given me so much and taken me to such amazing places. I hope that with my help and that of Rogue Expeditions, we can show you how amazing the world is, especially when explored on your own two feet!
