DAY 2
After breakfast we’ll take a scenic drive over to the start of our run, a challenging trail route with jaw-dropping ocean views that will make the climb all worth it. Enjoy lunch at the finish line before an afternoon visit to legendary Cape Point, the most southwestern point of the African continent where wild turquoise waves crash against towering cliffs and pristine beaches can be discovered by those willing to hike for it. Later, we'll head back to our guesthouse in Cape Town for a hearty dinner and good night of sleep!

Running: up to 10 mi / 17km, single track trail & dirt road
Meals: BLD included
DAY 4
After a light breakfast we’ll head to a nearby estate for a morning run on established trails among the vineyards. There we’ll kick back with a traditional braai (barbeque) and a good night of sleep.
Running: up to 10 mi / 17km, single track trail & dirt road
Meals: BLD included
DAY 5
Today we head further along the Garden Route, beginning with a short drive to the start of our run in Mossel Bay. DAY 6
There’s no run today, but you’ll still need your shoes – we’ve got some hiking to do! After breakfast we’ll head to Robberg Nature Reserve for a 6.5 mi / 11km hike along some of South Africa’s most stunning, surreal and colorful coastline: picture vibrantly green cliffs rising above a turquoise sea with waves crashing against rocky, bright orange beaches strewn with sunbathing seal colonies. You won’t want to miss it! Afterward you’ll be rewarded with lunch and whale watching* before eventually driving on to Storm’s River, our home for the next two nights.
Running: 6.5 mile / 11km hike (shorter options available), technical rocky trail
Meals: BLD included
*whale-watching will be dependent on weather and migratory conditions, but chances are good!
DAY 7
Long run day! Wake up in Storm’s River, the adventure epicenter of the Garden Route, surrounded by Tsitsikamma National Park. We’ll get an early start and head for the hills for miles upon miles of quiet, rolling dirt roads and sweeping mountain views. Once everyone has logged their miles and eaten their fill at a big farm lunch, it’s time to choose your recovery method: possible options include river tubing, kayaking, a canopy tour or simply kicking back at the village microbrewery!
Running: up to 20 miles / 32km, dirt roads
Meals: BLD included
DAY 8
Wake up for our final run, a recovery cruise along the soft dirt forest paths surrounding the village. After breakfast we’ll pack up and head to our final stop of the trip – the Addo Elephant National Park! Addo was created in 1931 as a sanctuary for 11 remaining elephants, and is now home to over 600 of them, along with cape buffalo, lions, zebra and black rhinos. We’ll take an evening safari drive in hopes of spotting all of these and more!
Running: up to 9 miles / 15km, dirt road
Meals: BLD included
DAY 9
It may be departure day, but we’ve got one last thing on the schedule – another game drive! This time we’ll head out at sunrise, a prime wildlife spotting time, before returning for breakfast, packing and then a drive to Port Elizabeth airport (PLZ) for departures.
Running: no scheduled run
Meals: B included
